چکیده
The aim of this study is to compare the somatotype male running Ultra-trail race at different distances and evaluate performance relationship. A total 44 runners, average age 45.64 ± 9.16 years; height 175.84 6.18 cm; body weight 75.36 7.46 kg, who ran 13 km (n= 6), 30 19), 66 14) 100 5), participated voluntarily in study. Heath & Carter method was used determine somatotypes runners. times were taken from results section on organization's website. One-way ANOVA test groups, Pearson correlation for analysis (p < 0.05). As a result, there significant difference endomorph = 0.000) mesomorph 0.035) groups. Significant differences observed between runners compared with 0.003), 0.002) 0.005) It found that those run had more mass than 30, 60 km, as distance increased, values decreased, long-distance athletes linear physical structure. In Ultra Trail runs differs according distance, it can be said mesomorphic-ectomorph time increases.

Peripheral circulation indicators in veteran trail runners
[Purpose] Competitive sport places strict demands on the cardiovascular systems of veteran trail runners. Our research objective was to evaluate the dynamics of microcirculation parameters of veteran runners in hypoxic and mid-altitude conditions. [Subjects and Methods] Seven male runners from Russia and Italy between the ages of 50 and 60 years were examined whilst competing at mid-altitude (1...

The aim of this study was to describe the physiques of Ironman athletes and the relationship between Ironman's performance, training and somatotype. A total of 165 male and 22 female competitors of the Ironman Switzerland volunteered in this study. Ten anthropometric dimensions were measured, and 12 training and history variables were recorded with a questionnaire. The variables were compared w...
متن کاملEnhanced Right-Chamber Remodeling in Endurance Ultra-Trail Athletes Compared to Marathon Runners Detected by Standard and Speckle-Tracking Echocardiography
Background: Strenuous and endurance exercise training have been associated with morphological and functional heart remodeling. Two-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography (STE) is a novel technique that allows an accurate quantification of global myocardium deformation. Our aim was to evaluate together left and right cardiac remodeling in different long-distance running athletes: marathon...
متن کاملVitamins, minerals and race performance in ultra-endurance runners--Deutschlandlauf 2006.
We investigated the effect of pre-race intake of vitamins and minerals, in the form of supplementation, before a multi-stage ultra-endurance run and their effect on race performance. At the Deutschlandlauf 2006 in Germany, where athletes had to run across Germany from the north (Kap Arkona-Rügen) to the south (Lörrach) over 1,200 km within 17 consecutive stages, twenty male ultra runners (46.2+...
متن کاملSerum C-reactive protein and lipids in ultra-Marathon runners.
In this investigation, we compared lipid and inflammatory parameters in regular long distance runners with matched sedentary controls. Long distance runners had significantly lower low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and C-reactive protein levels than the control group. This exercise-induced reduction in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol was independent of the decrease in C-reactive protein l...
